This course introduces students to the concept of engineering hydrology including hydrologic cycle and rainfall-runoff processes. It covers the quantification of rainfall and runoff processes for engineering design, including computation of design rainfall, peak discharges and hydrographs. The basic concept of Urban Drainage Design and compliance with local guidelines of Urban Strom Water Management Manual For Malaysia (MSMA) are discuss and employ in considering sustainability environmental value.
